Leads architectural design, testing, implementation, maintenance, support and training of the distributed computing environment.
Applies architectural expertise in designing and recommending solutions to complex infrastructure challenges. Exchange Mailbox Management.
Provides support to an environment including intel based compute, compute VMWare, file/block storage, Windows and operating systems, cloud environments and a wide range of infrastructure applications such as Active Directory, database services, and numerous business applications.
Data backup management and access control
Ensures and champions improvements to availability, security, and performance.
Managing IT assets in the Asset Database
Leverages deep skills to expedite problem identification and solutions to address the most complex defects/misconfigurations.
Support for AV Equipment (Meeting Rooms, Projectors, VC systems)
Performs hardware and software moves, adds and changes
Mentors less senior IT staff members and develops, teaches and helps enforce proper infrastructure standards and methodologies.
Assists with assessment and compatibility testing of new technologies, version updates and emergency patches.
Escalates problems to the external support agencies as required to assure timely resolution.
Prepares and delivers presentations to management and end-users.
Other AOR will be determined based on the business need.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic knowledge of infrastructure systems architecture concepts, configurations, and standards.
SSCM for Computer Imaging / Patching
Microsoft Office, Access, Project, Visio 2016
Managing Phones and Video Conferencing systems
Active Directory administration – Managing group membership
Managing and Setting up Exchange Mailboxes
Must have excellent oral and written English & Arabic communication skills and the ability to document in written format technical processes in a clear and concise manner
Must be able to work in a team environment and perform routine as well as technical tasks.
Must have the ability to work in a demanding environment, managing multiple priorities.
A high level of discretion and ability to work with confidential information is required.
Ability to analyse, research, and help develop solutions for both current and future infrastructure needs.
Experience with identification, evaluation, prioritization of, and resolution for, hardware and software failures.
Experience with vendor relations, with knowledge of vendor support systems and software licensing.
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years’ experience providing IT Infrastructure engineering with a proven ability to design, maintain and manage IT infrastructure systems.
