Presales activity in ITSM domain related to ManageEngine software as well as BMC and expertise on ITSM related process like ITIL. As Senior ITSM Presales Engineer you will be defining, developing & supporting the sales process for technology and solutions with account teams and will be engaging in account transactions based on technical expertise required in specific deals/programs leveraging specialized knowledge base across multiple accounts. You will also be the go-to-person for technical know-how in sales presentations, product demonstrations, Technical proposal, and customer workshops.
Professional Qualifications or Certifications :
BMC certified professional
ManageEngine Solution Expert Program MCS level is preferred.
•Professional ITSM Solution management experience
•Strong technical customer facing experience
•Solid knowledge of Manage Engine or BMC product like Asset Manager, ITSM Automation, Universal CMDB and Universal Discovery.
•Preferable experience with one more of the following solutions MF Operations Bridge Suite (OpsB) - OMi, OBR, OBA, BVD, SIS, APM, NOM (NNMi and NA)
•Understanding of the competition as well as good positioning & strategy.
•Proven track record of growing ITSM software products.
•Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to influence
•Deep knowledge of ITSM and ITIL, IT4IT is a big plus.
•Both technically oriented – ability to communicate and deeply engage with Engineering and Product Development teams and business competent – aware of trends and impact on market, able to engage with and support Sales and Product Marketing teams
Identify customer needs both technically and business wise and expand on current opportunity (cross sell – upsell).
Solution Planning and Design:
architects an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer's requirements, investigates and optimizes a solution's fit to the requirements of an opportunity, adapts solution design to new requirements, stablishes the validity of a solution and its components, identifies the growth path and scalability options of a solution and includes these in design activities, generates an implementation plan with timelines for the solution, anticipates some of the potential challenges for the proposed project plan, assesses likely competitive threats.
Solution proposal and Showcasing:
Conducts presentations and workshops for customer around Alnafitha offerings, assists in technical demos that explain the functionality and benefit of Software, Conducts Proof of Concept installation and configuration on client sites for software. evaluation, Provided Answers and Integrated Solutions in order to reply to RFP, RFI and RFQ.
Team collaboration: .
Assist the account management team on sales cycle from solution proposal license advisement and presentations and gather information for the technical writing team to help materialize a technical proposal
RFQ and RFP analysis:
Analyze and respond to RFQ and RFP and collect related information from customer to help on identifying project areas and solution requirement
